Great Lakes Retail Revitalisation

P+I delivered a new stand alone supermarket for Great Lakes Council.  Woolworths is leasing the completed building from Council. The supermarket integrates seamlessly with existing retail offerings, and is intended to act as a catalyst for further retail improvements in Tuncurry.

P+I was originally engaged to provide strategic and financial advisory services.  The brief was to identify viable uses for a key undeveloped site owned by Council.  Council’s objective was to redevelop the site to provide community benefit and specified outcomes for local residents, compatible with Council’s vision for the local precinct.

After working through various site options, P+I affirmed the feasibility of a supermarket and sought interest from major tenants.  We were subsequently retained to provide project and financial management advice, including:

  • Commercial / Contractual
  • Design Development
  • Tendering Construction
  • Project Management during construction.
